South Dakota Summer 2022

South Dakota is as amazing as you can imagine…the west as it was 150 years ago.

Mt. Rushmore is truly a national treasure. It is an awe inspiring site evoking patriotism deep in your heart. Check out the picture of Noah looking up at the monument with his hand on his heart. Did you know that 90% of the mountain was carved using dynamite?

We visited the Badlands, Deadwood, Sturges, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Hill City, Spearfish, and of course no trip out west would be complete without a rodeo!

There was one unfortunate mistake that made us cut our trip short…gasoline in the diesel tank. We won’t be doing that again! 🙂
