Our Journey Begins…

Dec 15, 2020 Pickup up the RV in Dallas, TX.

Dec 16-19, 2020
Grand Ole Opry (Chris Janson) and Ryman Auditorium (Jimmie Allen) in Nashville.

From there we planned on going to the Blue Ridge Parkway for some hiking, but we weren’t comfortable dealing with freezing temps at night and winterizing along the way on our first trip. After re-thinking the winterizing issue, we decided that after Nashville, we will head south instead.

Dec 19-21, 2020
We drove to the Florida panhandle to do some fishing. We stayed on St. George’s Island which feels untouched and is really beautiful.

Bald Point State Park in Panacea, FL. Another beautiful state park with amazing fishing. You can walk all the way out on the oyster beds.

Dec 24-25, 2020
Fort Clinch State Park on Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, FL. This too, was absolutely beautiful! Besides fishing we toured the fort that was built prior to the Civil War. During the war the south used it, but the Union forces took it over toward the end of the war.

Visiting our good friends Rosie and Brad in Fort Mill, SC.

Visiting friends Cindy and Mark Bello in Lake Norman, NC.

Jan 5, 2020
We hope to visit our friends’ son and daughter-in-law in Newport News,VA and meet their new baby daughter before heading home.

Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to all! Lord knows we all need a new year after this one!
