Horseshoe Beach…a quiet, small town made up of friendly locals. There’s only one restaurant, The Shrimp Boat, and it’s only opened a few days a week. Horseshoe beach is all about the fishing and in the summer months, it’s all about the scalloping!
Our friends from MD, Preston & Jeanette Hartge (and doggy Cindy Lou), met up with us here. It was their maiden voyage in their new RV. It was so awesome to spend quality time with our friends. We fished on the boat all day and hung out for dinner in the evenings.
The birds on the water are so beautiful! We watched a large flock of white pelicans (pretty uncommon) along with 4-5 other species, take off as we approached the island. Cindy Lou had a “Birds Eye” view! 😉
