Florida 2023 Here We Come!

January 19, 2023. Leaving Crownsville. 41 degrees. Winds blowing!

Heading to the “Sunshine State” ‘Where woke goes to die!’” 

We decided to trade the canoe for a real fishing boat this year (yay!). We’re so super excited about having a boat. We can head out fishing first thing every morning and stay out until after dark. We have a live well to keep our fish fresh and we can hit up a tiki bar or two on the way home in the evenings. 😜

We’re going to revisit some of our favorite west coast small towns and beachfront campsites and we added a few east coast sites this year. Our first stop is Whitey’s Fish Camp on Fleming island near Jacksonville. From there we’re going to Long Point campground in Sebastian Inlet and then West Palm Beach for a visit with family. 

We’re really excited that we’ll be meeting up with friends throughout the three months. We’re gonna hang out in Sebastian Inlet with Rick & Linda Barber, Ft DeSoto with Jon Hartman, Jeanette & Preston Hartge are joining us in Horseshoe Beach & Keaton Beach.  David and Roberta are meeting us in Carrabelle. Wayne and Linda English will hopefully meet up with us along our route,  then…
